Hello everyone! As a recent homeschool graduate, a project that I’ve been working on is developing a supplementary homeschool curriculum. It’s based on the BBC Victorian Farm series and the premise is that a historian and two archaeologists decide to live for a year as if they were on a 19th century farm. Their unusual activities and surprising insights provide a history show that is definitely not your typical documentary.
I’ve enjoyed this series so much, and I want to share that with others, creating a curriculum I would’ve been excited to study myself. Designed to be used only four days per month, the curriculum is flexible for busy schedules.
I would love if you would try out this sample month of December that I’ve built. It’s still a work in progress, and any input you may have would be greatly appreciated! Even if you don’t end up using the curriculum until next December, as I understand it’s a bit early, please don’t hesitate to give feedback on how to improve it for next time.
As the year progresses, I will be sending out more information, and hopefully another sample month. Just below is the form to fill out if you’d like a curriculum sample, and/or to stay informed on any curriculum updates. Thank you so much for your support!
Don’t forget! If you know of anyone who might be interested, please direct them to this page. Thank you!
